Illinois Chapter of the Black Panther Party
Field Secretary Samuel Latson was charged with organizing the South Side of Chicago, from 35th Street to the south suburbs. He describes how dedicated Party members were, the meeting between Fred Hampton and Jeff Fort, head of the Blackstone Rangers, and his speaking at the 1969 anniversary of the Democratic Convention.
