Heritage Trail Oral History Collection
About the Collection
The growing Heritage Trail Oral History Collection documents the history of the Illinois Chapter through interviews with members of the Black Panther Party, Young Lords, People’s Law Office, Intercommunal Survival Committee, and many others who were part of this experience. We are especially pleased that these audio interviews make the Illinois Chapter’s history even more accessible for many people. Many interviewees are founding members of the Historical Preservation Society and active participants in preserving the history documented in this collection.
