Illinois Chapter of the Black Panther Party
Sheila McNary became a pediatric nurse after working in the Sickle Cell Anemia program at the Illinois Chapter’s medical center. She also discusses the Free Political Prisoners program, how she was part of the Black Student Union, which helped change the name of Crane College to Malcolm X College, and her work at the Illinois Chapter’s daycare and Liberation School.
